Bonneval to continue on her winning way here and start a $3-something fave in the Caulfield Cup.

Bonneval and Francis Of Assisi are the 2 I'm on with Betty. I'm hoping Appleby renews his trainer/jockey association with Kerrin McEvoy, they're a lethal combo.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left

I've often wondered how people calculate race percentages quickly. Do they have a programmable calculator set so they just add the prices up and it arrives at a figure or do they do it in their head?

No doubt this market is a dodgy one, and I would be very surprised if the corporates see much action before acceptances and barrier draws.

The international I am eager to see is River Light. The Irish are hyperventilating over their praise for this galloper and say he is a group 1 winner in waiting.

Obviously Bonneval and Hartnell look the two locals.

Barrier draw is key here but whatever happens Hartnell will be going forward. Reading between the lines I don't think Cummings was all that happy with McEvoy's ride last time out. If Hartnell draws a barrier and caulfield plays the way it did last time I think you will find he will be much shorter come Saturday. Bonneval looks a star and the testing material but it's one thing beating Hartnell getting past him is a different story all together.

The good to fast tracks may be a hinderence to the Irish horse voyager, his times are very slow but against that they have been on softish tracks, interesting times ahead imo.

Hartnell seems like a risk to me. Thrashed by Humidor then only caught Gailo Chop in the shadows of the post last time, if he draws well he's a big chance but not sure he's the same horse he was 12 months ago. Bonneval deserves favouritism imo.

Bonneval looks unders to me.  The pace in the last two races has played right into her hands, not sure she'll get the same on Saturday.

regarding Inference being around 30's he has had good wagers placed and is 26's into 19's and other places 25's into 20 so there is some cash saying he will run a good race, I d be happy if he did.

single gaze is such an honest mare and ran a cracker last start - hoping she can settle just behind the lead this time and get a soft run. Great each way chance

We know she needs to be on speed - but that was a shocking ride last start. Went for home way too early & unnecessary.

Expect Jon Snow to give a sight here. I know it was a much easier race last time but he had to do plenty of work early. Should roll along up the front and he’s a tough bugger to get past.

This race smells of an upset. When you get 2 horses dominating the market we often see another horse spoil the party. More open than the market indicates.
