Need I say it - Juliet line horse and this one I did find at the yearling sales.  Hope he goes well but one win doesn't mean he will step up.  Just hoping at this stage.

No doubt this bloke is well on the way to superstardom.

His trainer Wayne Hawkes really treats us like dills. He says on After The Last that all good colts are quiet and someother nonsense.

What a serious load of gelati. We all know plenty of great colts are cantankerous and boisterous. All his good colts probably are perfectly well behaved because if they wink at a filly they are gelded.

Basically his prophecy is self fulfilling.

Hawkes does talk a lot of gelati doesn't he.

Thought Brutal only got warm late and the small margin maybe takes away from what many expected to be a dominant win. Maybe the runner up is better than we all thought and there was a pretty blatant bias to anything on the rails and leading so the run may have more merit that we think. Really need to see again but I don't think there would be any disappointment with what they saw.

Overwhelming bias to being on pace yesterday ,will be interesting when there is a level playing field, I thought Paret was the run of the day across Nsw and Vic racing

Win was okay, but he will be meeting better types further into the spring.

I thought Long Leaf was just as good last week, Graff was ultra impressive on a track where the conditions of the track did not suit, and I would still back Wallers three Lean Mean Machine, Zousain and The Autumn Sun, before this fellow.

I can see him being this seasons Royal Symphony, competitive, but having to improve to win a Guineas.
Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

He will not be meeting many better than Tavisan.

Tavisan is absolutely top class.

Didnt handle the bend to well wanting to get on the wrong leg for a few strides by that stage the leader who’s a talented horse skipped 1.5L in front and was off and gone travelling well

He had to be a decent horse to get up and he lengthened like a decent horse that last 100m was SOFT

Think a bigger track will suit and this colts weapon will be his turn of foot that a few other Guineas hopefulls dont possess we seen that on debut when let down on a bigger track balanced up ….and we seen it again yesterday at the 100m when balanced up the way he dropped off Marcel of Madrid - and especially Leonardo Da Hinchi who got that dream run through and was saved for the effort … that excelleration burst won him the race its a very DANGEROUS tool to have over 1600m

And that is the BIG question can he stretch it out over 1600m when we know others like the Autumn Sun have allready proven they can

I took the $15.00 to find out and I haven’t lost any confidence after yesterdays effort !!

Betting markets for the guineas suggest he's not going that way - anyone aware of any news on this?

I had a good crack at 18s each way
