djebel, a note as to the reason for posting these pedigree charts would be most enlightening Wink
We can all see he has this family as  his bottom line but performance to date, trainer, country racing in etc., would save us lazy or time poor souls, from looking him up Smile
Experience is something you gain a few minutes after you could have used it!

Designs On Rome won the big race in Hong Kong last night and is the best middle distance galloper in Hong Kong.

Easter Yearling Sale - Street Cry Colt Takes Day 2 Honours
Strong competition between buyers from Australia and abroad continued at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney on Wednesday, with the overall clearance of 81% the best at the end of Day Two in over five years.

Street CryWith one day remaining 266 lots have been sold at clearance of 81%, averaging $256,071 with a median of $200,000

Emirates Park and Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum combined to take home the top lot just as they did on Day Two last year.

The partnership went to $1.5 million to purchase the Street Cry x Star on High colt (Lot 224) from Three Bridges Thoroughbreds.

Tthe regally bred Star On High (Fusaichi Pegasus) is a half-sister to European champion Peeping Fawn and G1 winner and young sire Thewayyouare.

Designs on Rome wins Hong Kong's QE II Cup
Published: 27 Apr 2014 at 19.49 | Viewed: 229 | Comments: 0Online news: SportsWriter: AFP .-
+ Hong Kong-stabled Designs On Rome edged to victory at the city's annual Audemars Piguet QE II Cup on Sunday in a thrilling race which gave trainer John Moore back-to-back wins of the trophy.

Tommy Berry (front) riding Designs On Rome and representing Hong Kong approaches the finish line ahead of Joao Moreira riding Military Attack (back) at the 2014 Audemars Piguet QE II Cup horse race in Hong Kong on April 27, 2014
The four-year-old bookie's favourite nosed ahead of last year's victor, stablemate Military Attack also trained by Moore, to take the cup at a packed Sha Tin Racecourse.

South African Vercingetorix came in third on the 2,000-metre turf track.

Moore described the win as "absolutely marvellous".

"What he's done so far is showing he is very talented," he said of Designs On Rome, also winner of the Hong Kong Derby in March.

The Hong Kong horse nudged the QE II Cup win after trailing for a large part of the race.

Afterwards triumphant jockey Tommy Berry put his hands together in a prayer gesture.

"It's been a pretty tough month," said Berry, whose identical twin brother Nathan, also a jockey, died earlier in April.

"It's very special," the Australian said of his win.

"There was a little bit of a scare when Military Attack got up on the inside, but you always know I've got a little bit more left in the tank," he said.
