3 NH bred gallopers who won 3200m Melbourne Cup. Which one would you use, if any of the three, and why?

Fiorente for me. I think he had more speed than the other two and that's important even when it comes to breeding stayers. Whether he can pass that on to his progeny is anyone's guess. Green Moon was also very effective at a mile so he wouldn't be too far behind.

Fiorente, a lot more versatility, natural turn of foot, and better record at weight for age.

Yep, Think MichaelM and Stoney are on the money.
Fiorente Green Moon Americain Americain should be a starting point for A National Hunt stud farm in Victoria. And that is not being disrespectful. |

Americain and Green Moon a bit dour. Fiorente had a much better turn of foot. His 3rd in the All Aged behind All Too Hard and Rain Affair was his stand out performance from that perspective.

Conversely green moon was competitive over a mile in campaigns where he was aimed at 2 miles, and his sire montjeu is proving to be a handy sire of sires
Who would have thought guillotine would be siring 2yo 1000m winners ? |

Forget the names look at the opportunities with:
REBEL RAIDER MAWINGO GLASS HARMONIUM and I have nothing to do with any of those studs or stallions |

Fiorente is doing well at stud, but can anyone tell me the whereabouts of Green Moon. The Stud book says he was imported to Ireland a few years back, does anyone know where is standing.

Rebel Raider was a brilliant racehorse but he was cut short by injury, standing at stud in South Australia I think and getting some nice winners.
Always like to keep track of past runners and know how theyre doing |

Green Moon is not recorded in the Irish stud book of standing stallions for year 2018.
I’ll try France now. Nothing comes up on google |
