Good luck Sunline.
I'm in Showtime's corner today, and the Guineas.
But, only because of the price today.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left

Why do they take away his ability to be on speed? Horrible tactics.

I was wondering how you could be so confident about it when the 3yo with the best performance of the year so far, albeit mysteriously, was opposing it. And generally speaking, a Snitzel always beats a Savabeel at 1200m.

I didn't back Trapeze Artist, because the Golden Rose by itself is a WTF performance, but that performance would make me very nervous about backing something else. Global Glamour is cooked so she was no risk.

Global Glamour is yet to win against open company, so I wouldn't necessarily say she's cooked. There are some nice F+M races for her - that seems to be her wheelhouse.

I need to watch it again but was the horse dragged back or just settled where he wanted to ?

He gets a clean run through and he goes very very close. They were not too sharp for him he was just unlucky.

Good horse.

Collett was just a passenger. Did nothing, right up to the point when there was nothing he could do.

Apparently the intention today is to lead.

Looks like at least 3 leaders for the race.

Late decision to run, Collett and Clark already committed to other runners.

Could have been worse - Ford's riding at the meeting. AH is okay (has ridden very well for GaiBott iirc) but thought if they're aiming higher they would want an 'senior' jock to give them an assessment. Hope he gives them a 10/10

Bullied out of the lead by Rachel King. Addictive Nature can't sprint fast enough so has to lead.

He can not sprint fast enough over the shorter trips but when he gets out to his proper trip such as 2000m and is allowed to settle where ever he wants rather than pushed to lead he will display good acceleration.

The Rosehill Guineas should be his immediate target.

I do as well , it's a shame they took away the Canterbury Guinness 1900, it was a great stepping stone for the 3 yos who were inclined to show stamina tendencies, I think 2000 for this bloke is ideal, ( on the proviso he could mix it).

He has been beaten about 2 lengths by some of the best older horses in the country.

He is not overrated he is poorly placed. ( as usual )

Apart from Winx and Humidor they would rank with in 2 to 3 lengths of the rest of the best probably closer. Yes.

Effort was okay, as it always is. Didn't think he could win but did expect him to finish a bit better with the light weight, esp with a run under his belt. Form around him is solid without being top notch. Just doesn't yet have that little extra required to get his nose in front.

Because he is running over trips too short for him.

Addictive N.   Did burn petrol early and returned best Ratings so far but
well below what is required to be competitive in these better class races ..
I think we jumped the gun with him,   when he was impressive winner last time in.        > I'm prepared to sack him until he has a heart transplant.

Love to see this blokes old man get this horse, they are chalk and cheese imo when it comes to training , there is no reason why he won't get over more ground and become a nice winner.
