I really liked that win of Kinky Boom
I dont known the first half sectionals though, didnt check yet. It seemed slow on tv.
Sat last, thundered home easily, so extra distance will suit.
I always like horses that can win at short trip, coming from last. To get past others, from last, shows talent.

Plague Stone is lining up against Long Leaf in the C&G Prelude on saturday.

I think Long Leaf is the testing material but SportsBet have it Plague Stone $3.50 Long Leaf $4.50.

I'm on Long Leaf in the Blue Diamond at the current odds of $8. But I had a small bet on Plague Stone last month and also Encryption hoping one of them would line up.

So far I'm in the hunt. This saturday will be a cracker. Two great races at Caulfield plus Warwick Farm.
I love these babies races.

The fillies do look to be very good this season but in the final I want to be on one of the colts.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left

So what do we think.

Males or females?

Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

Hayes, Hayes Dabernig have a great hand again.

Long Leaf drawn 7 has the early pace to take advantage of that draw.
Their other big hope is Ennis Hill drawn in 4 (best of the fillies maybe).

Enbihaar and Qafila makes it nearly as strong as last year.

Plague Stone drawn 6. Happy with that, Zahra can get a nice run behind the leaders and be close enough to not get caught up in traffic.

Long Leaf looks the one to me. $7 now, should be shorter imo.

Kinky Boom? We'll get to find out if the quality she beat was up to Grp 1 standard.

lol.. Another lottery ..   Only one turn so the barriers less important .     Prices will swing me but at this stage I see value in OOHOOD who should be finishing on & ENNIS HILL

Melham on Plague Stone was mentioned during the week. Not sure why it's not showing on Racing Aus.

Lane on Encryption.

Yes and barriers aren't so important iirc, depending on your racing pattern I guess. .

I thought Written By had a silly chance, not the best gate horse apparently, may need to draw wide but will be of little disadvantage imo.

Bookies have overreacted to her barrier Carioca. I've liked Ennis Hill for a while tho I would have liked an 1100m lead in.

I doubt it will worry this breed, it may take a slight edge of the quick ones though imo.
