I wouldn't be calling Mr Feelgood a New Zealander, or an Aussie for that matter

So let's get this straight. Bondy has now won four races in a row, one being a Hunter Cup and two being Interdom qualifiers and he easily held Washakie in their heat last week but he cannot win and Washakie can? If Bondy draws an inside gate, whatever beats him (if anything does) will win the race.

Haha they would have certainly needed him to be something to recoup some of the money paid out for him.

Mr Feelgood ... last year .. was "quiet" in the heats ...
2nd round last year was driven "upside down" came out from 9 punched thru and than launched to the front, weakened and was forgotten horse in final ..
last week 2nd heat, launched from the gate, driven "upside down" again
I'd say be driven quiet this week and could be a knockout.

I know Washakie went good last week but on the big track I dont like him...

Smoken Up if he draws a barrier will come into this, loves the big track...

Monkey King, obvious fav.. speaks for himself

Bondy .. cant beleive all the "knocking" of this horse .. yeahh hes been infront, so what? he led all the way in the toughest staying test we have, HUNTER CUP.. and the horse has come from behind and btn the likes of Monkey King.. he is not a leader only, and is not "weak" people say "oh if he leads in final they'll take him on and he'll crumble" yeahh he might not win but the dic*head that takes him on will finish 30m behind him.

Blacks A Fake .. love him, hope he wins, can win, fingers crossed

1- Blacks A Fake .. sentimental yes but hes flying ...
2- Bondy .. done nothing wrong ..
3- Monkey King .. obvious reasons
4- Mr Feelgood .. the knockout.. the forgotten bloke

Great post Sprint Lane. The barrier draw tonight will tell the story IMO. If Bondy draws gate 1 or 2 good luck anything getting by him. If Monkey King were to draw gate 1 he could be in serious trouble.

yeahh your not wrong,, monkey king would rather 10 than 1 .. genuine left him for dead other night .. but no 2nd row he could grab hold and ricky may is a genius could slot him some were ... atomik ark is a smokey ,, the little fella has jumped out of the ground .. i dont think he can win but he'll be driven like a 100-1 shot .. wil go fence and with luck he could sneak into 3rd .. before the draw I only see 5 realistic winning chances .. Blackie, Smoken Up, Monkey King, Bondy, Mr Feelgood

if the final was at bathurst washakie would be a shoe in haha

and I dont think bondy needs 1 or 2 .. will help of course but a 26 quarter is a 26 quarter .. say there is speed on and front brigade get home in 27 something if he draws bad went back didnt spend a cent in the run and got a cart up he can beat em .. same for monkey king and Mr Feelgood .. where as I feel that blackie and smoken ups chances rest with them being on pace grinding away and the way blackie went the other night if he got to death easy enuf or even led I think he can do it

But PMS, answer me this. Would you would rather;
a) be fed rubbish and go along with it like every poster bar myself and Sprint Lane.
b) read the rubbish (only some of it actually is, some of its very good stuff but I am not your/their mother I dont need to give the kudos and say job well done chap) and then analyse what is posted and make your own judgements and offer your opinion. Even try and make them see the light / my way of thinking with offering harsh reviews. Its my way or the high way as far as I am concerned LOL

I've got Washakie leading with Blackie at his wheel from the gate. Our Awesome Armbro straight to the pegs and gets the soft run. After 400m or so Smoken Up challenges for the breeze. He has to in my opinion or he won't get into the race at all. I think Blackie hands up and takes the 1x1.

These three will be joined mid race by Bondy. Baileys Dream takes the 3 wide with cover spot. Smoken Up won't let Bondy in and Washakie won't let Smoken Up cross. I see it as Bondy's only chance to win and in effect it will be the end of his chances. He's done nothing wrong and deserves to be shorter than $26, but you can't pick them all.

With that bunch ensuring the pace is on the it is set up for two very good swoopers, Monkey King and Mr Feelgood. With a long, luxurious bend leading into a 350m long home straight, the leaders are sitting targets.

I reckon Washakie will hold on for 3rd or 4th and Blackie will hold on for a place too. They have both been enormous this series. Bondy, Baileys Dream, and Smoken Up will have nothing left. Atomic Ark and Our Awesome Armbro should be added for novelties.

If I have to pick them in order it's:

1. Monkey King
2. Mr Feelgood
3. Blacks A Fake
4. Washakie
With OAA and AA thrown in for first 4.

The first bet I had however was Mr Feelgood at $21. That is extreme overs for mine. Before the market opened I would have taken $11 about him. One thing you can guarantee is that Jukebox Music's track record for the 2300m will cop a hiding!

Interesting draw .. could be a surprise here

Atomik Ark .. think back to his last few starts ,, what has been his trademark??? flying the gate and than handing up for a soft run ... Grant will go down to drive him, fly the gate try and cross Washakie hand up to Blacky??? possible. Washakie has great gate speed as well and may well be able to hold him out but they will come out humming, even if Atomik Atk cant cross Washakie he will jus hand the breeze up to Blacks A Fake. BAF will jus amble of the gate and roll to the death or even the front, spend no petrol and just roll along all day.

Our Awesome Armbro will land behind Washakie, wont place wont keep up with top 3 or 4.

All drawn 5 to 9 dont have much gate speed compared to those underneath .. will be interesting to see what they do. I dont have the slightest idea. No point going forward blacks a fake wont be handing the death up .. so they will all go back try to slot in and than cat and mouse will start for the trip home... Im going to make a statement now and say that MONKEY KING wont win, not because of his ability simply because of the way i think the race will be run.. think about it, he will settle infront of Smoken Up, Bondy, Mr Feelgood (the only 3 that will move 3 wide) Monkey King is either going to have to lead the 3 wide line over probably the last 1000 or stay and hope for luck. They will get home in 55 over 2300 and if hes 3 wide by himself it will have to be something special to win.

I Can see Washakie leading, Our Awesome Armbro on his back, Atomik Ark getting to death than handing up to Blacks A Fake. Monkey King will land on Atomik Ark's back, Baileys Dream will look for 3 fence, with the rest of them going back to sort themselves out. Bondy should settle infront of SMoken Up and Mr Feelgood, Bondy pull out first maybe?? flush out Monkey King and get the nice trial and 20 odd to 1 looks quite good. I still think Blacky can beat em from the chair.

After draw Il go ..
1- Blacks A Fake
2- Bondy
3- Monkey King
- Mr Feelgood

haha natalie wont hand up the death .. take it from horses mouth so to say .. and do ya form .. Smoken Up .. 64 first half last week, pace goes on hes gone .. why would she hand up to him and more than likely get shuffled back or pull out and sit 3 wide last 1100 or so.. if lance is stupid enuf to run that poor horse into the ground again than he can sit 3 wide the trip and run close enuf to last
